Our Online Library: Creative Liturgy

Don Menzi

I'm only half-ready for you, Lord;
Divided from myself, but seeking wholeness.

I know the secret lies in plain sight within me, but
I'm half afraid to look for it with open eyes,
For fear that I might find it.

"Seek simplicity," you say, "The Whole can be found
in the smallest of its parts."
So when I find the single seed from which the
Universe springs anew each day,
I'll call it by your Name, and know that it was in
my hand all along.
